## Current Account (March 2026)

The current account deficit (seasonally and working-day adjusted) stood at **EUR 1.2 billion** in March 2026, compared with a deficit of **EUR 1.5 billion** in February.

### Components (March 2026, monthly)

- **Goods trade deficit:** EUR 4.5 billion (down from EUR 4.8 billion in February)
  - Energy deficit: EUR 4.3 billion
  - Non-energy goods deficit: EUR 0.2 billion
- **Services surplus:** EUR 3.8 billion (up from EUR 3.6 billion in February)
