### Auto Industry Performance of February-2026

Monthly Performance: February 2026 Production: The total production of Passenger Vehicles 1 , Three Wheelers, Two Wheelers, and Quadricycle in February 2026 was 28,64,612 units. Domestic Sales: Passenger Vehicles 2 sales were 4,17,705 units in February 2026. Three-wheeler sales were 74,573 units in February 2026 Two-wheeler sales were 18,71,406 units in February 2026. 1 BMW, Mercedes, JLR, Tata Motors & Volvo Auto data are not available. 2 BMW, Mercedes, JLR & Volvo Auto data are not available. Tata Motors Domestic Sales data included only in this document. However, without Tata Motors, ‘Total PV’ would be 3,55,376 for February 2026 Commenting on February 2026 performance, Mr Rajesh Menon, Director General, SIAM said, “ Positive sentiments in the Industry continues as Passenger Vehicles, Two-Wheelers and Three-Wheelers posted their highest ever Sales of February in 2026, with double digit growth, compared to February 2025. 4.18 Lakh units of Passenger Vehicles were sold in February 2026, with a growth of 10.6%, as compared to February 2025. Three-Wheelers witnessed a strong growth of 29.0% compared to February of previous year, with sales of 0.75 Lakh units, while Two-Wheelers grew by 35.2% in February 2026 as compared to February 2025, with sales of 18.71 Lakh units. While the month of March has festive drivers in several parts of the country, the recent conflict in West Asia remains a concern, both from the perspective of Supply Chain, which could impact the manufacturing processes and exports.
