## Interpretation

The Economic Confidence Index composite ranges from 0 to 200. Values above 100 indicate an optimistic outlook on the general economic situation; values below 100 indicate pessimism. At 96.4, the index remains in pessimistic territory, showing a slight deterioration from March.
