The Central Bank of Russia publishes monthly merchandise trade statistics based on balance of payments methodology. The data are presented in USD million and include totals for exports (FOB), imports (FOB), and the trade balance, with breakdowns by geographic groups (CIS and non‑CIS). The Excel workbook contains three sheets:

- **Monthly** — monthly trade values from 1997 to present
- **Quarterly** — aggregated quarterly figures
- **Annual** — yearly totals

The latest observation (February 2026) shows a trade surplus of **5,353 million USD**, with exports of 30,123 million USD and imports of 24,770 million USD.
