Consumer Price Index: February 2026
□ The Consumer Price Index was 118.40 (2020=100) in February 2026.
The index increased 0.3 percent from the preceding month and rose
2.0 percent from the same month of the previous year.
◦ The index excluding food and energy was 114.87 in February 2026. The
index increased 0.4 percent from the preceding month and rose 2.3
percent from the same month of the previous year.

Restaurants

fuels,
and

Transport,

hotels,

and

Miscellaneous goods and services increased 0.3 percent, 0.2 percent, 0.4
percent, 0.4 percent, 1.4 percent, 0.2 percent, 0.4 percent, and 0.2
percent, respectively, from the preceding month.
◦ The index for Furnishings, household equipment & routine maintenance,
and Health decreased 0.1 percent, and 0.2 percent respectively, from the
preceding month.
◦ The index for Clothing and footwear, and Communication remained
unchanged from the preceding month.
